Cool story bro.

I met a lot of locals (and some not so locals) yesterday! The Studenterhuset (the student union I posted a picture of earlier) hires volunteers from DIS every semester. If you need a refresher, the Studenterhuset is a University of Copenhagen/DIS/other students cafe/bar that has concerts and events every week. So I signed up to be a barista/bartender because they train you and you get an awesome volunteer discount on all drinks (coffee and bar...YAY dream come true). Right now i'm just on event planning, but hopefully they'll let me barista and bartend.

Today I went to another cafe (Democratic Coffee). They had fresh-out-of-the-oven croissants, homemade cheesecake, and espresso drinks that looked just as good as they tasted. Taste-wise it is the clear winner of my latte hunt, however price-wise it was a no-go. So, it looks like ill be going there only in dire emergencies (or with people who want to pay for me). Here is the fb page if you wanna check it out! It kinda reminded me of Please and Thank You from back home (for all you hipsters out there). https://www.facebook.com/pages/Democratic-Coffee/147810001973306?ref=ts

TODAY MY MOM SENT ME A PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now my pullover can have a matching hat at all times!

So, formally, thank you mom. I love you and it made my day so much happier knowing you had picked out all those things (and knowing that you probably sampled some of the dove chocolates I got too) Which I have already eaten.

Daily Nugget of Wisdom: The recycle system here is awesome! if you save the bottles and cases of these, most supermarkets will give you store credit for returning them. Same goes for many other glass and plastic containers.

Ok happy friday everyone, I will talk to you all tomorrow!
